GMO-Free Regions world-wide and Preparation of CBD and Biosafety Protocol May 2008

Next May the "Rio" Convention on Biodiversity will take place in Bonn, Germany. Back to back with this mega-event the Meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol in Biosafety will be focusing on the issue of global liability rules for genetically modified organisms. This workshop is to inform about preparations for the CBD and to discuss joint activities around it.
